Transitions are Coming...

I have not been blogging for quite some time now due to travel, vacation and the need to focus a lot of my time on the regional work of Soma Communities. I intend to share some of the changes we are making to our overall strategy in the next week (we will be sharing with Soma Communities this Sunday at our family gathering downtown).

Here are the highlights...

1. I have handed off the NW Leadership of A29 to Adam Sinnett so I can focus on Western N. America as the Vice President (west) of A29 and The South Puget Sound as the Visionary Leader of Soma Communities.
2. We are restructuring our gatherings and leadership for Soma Communities for greater effectiveness of Mission and Vision for the whole (more to come next week...).
3. We are building better structures, systems and tools to support ongoing multiplication (i.e. Online Missional Readiness Assessment with next steps for training; Clearer descriptions of MC leaders and MC plans for mission and multiplication; Process and plan for MCs moving toward new Gathered Churches; etc.)
4. We are aligning more energies toward the development of our MC leaders for Pastoral care, counseling, "gospeling the heart"
5. We are prayerfully considering how to better reach children, youth and college students in our region (especially those not in any church)
   
6. I plan to better focus on vision, preaching and movement leadership
7. I will be transitioning my blog to include other leaders from Soma sharing their thoughts and learnings (coming soon...)
